Christine Penksa

Christine Penksa was born in Brooklyn, New York and grew up in Pearl River, New York. She studied Biology and Art at Binghamton University and then received a MS in Biology from Penn State University. She also attended classes at The Art Students League where she focused on painting.

She has shown her work in both group and solo exhibits in the New York metropolitan area, most recently at The Blue Hill Art and Cultural Center in Pearl River, New York. Currently, Christine is a Lead Artist for Opening Minds through Art, an expressive art program for people with dementia.
